Here is Eleanor at two weeks old (photo courtesy of Keekey since Mommy wasn't quite organized enough to set up the photo shoot this week). Eleanor had her 2 week appointment with the pediatrician yesterday, and she is getting very big. (Cue "Brick House" theme music). She has already grown an inch and is up to 8 pounds 5 ounces!

My mom also took an especially cute picture of the boys checking on Eleanor in the pack and play but for some reason it keeps making the blog freeze when I try to upload and move it, so, since I have absolutely zero ability to deal with even the most minor inconveniences these days, I decided to forget trying to upload it for now. Perhaps tomorrow, when I am hating technology a little less, I'll give it another shot. Maybe.
Part of my grouchiness is, of course, due to the fact that I am not getting much sleep, and what I am getting is in stretches no longer than 2 hours (and usually more like an hour and 15 minutes). The majority of the grump factor today, however, is due to the fact that Eleanor's pediatrician said I should stop drinking coffee since Eleanor has been pretty gassy and appears unhappy and uncomfortable when she is. Now I think denying someone caffeine when they are already attempting to survive on an inhuman amount of sleep is just cruel, so we will have to see how long the "no coffee" streak lasts before it turns into "a little coffee for Mommy so no one dies."

zandy! she is beautiful- congrats to you and andy, im so excited for you both! I havent been on your blog in a few weeks and im so impressed that you are still able to write while sleeping on a couch sitting up. What the hell is wrong with you? Go enjoy your parents being there and let them capture the pics and update us when you are up and walking around. I cant wait to meet your family soon, after you are able to ingest caffeine. that being said, im having 2 for you tomorrow! xoxo, lish
