Yesterday we took the boys to the zoo which (aside from Fraser falling off a chair and landing on his face) was lots of fun. If you ask Fraser what his favorite animal at the zoo was he says "goats." This could be because he really liked the goats or because "goats" was the only animal name he could say. Either way, he had fun. Andy's favorite part of the zoo was the construction of the new sky ride and the equipment on site. (I am told this is an excavator but Fraser calls it a bac-ah which roughly translates into backhoe).

Fraser is now sleeping in his very own big boy bed in his very own room for naps and at night, and for the most part he seems okay with it. Last night he did wake up at 4:00 and freak out, probably because he just wanted some company, but after Andy went in a rubbed his back for awhile, he was fine.

Everything with Hammie is going well, if you don't count eating or sleeping. I weighed him yesterday and discovered that he hasn't gained any weight in the past month, which means he has now dropped down to the 50th percentile. I don't think you need a medical degree to figure out that dropping from the 90th percentile to the 50th in six months isn't good. So, I am now trying to get him to drink some formula, a concept he is none too thrilled about. I'm also getting ready to stop breastfeeding him altogether since his eating at night has been getting steadily more frequent (probably because he has been so hungry) and if I don't get some sleep soon I'm going to accidentally drive off a bridge or "accidentally" leave my children at the grocery store.
I'm hoping that a move to formula and the addition of solid food will get Hammie back on track in both the weight gain and sleep departments. But only time will tell...
