I hope everyone had an enjoyable and relaxing memorial day weekend. We went to Maine but, of course, forgot the camera, so here are some photos from just before and just after the weekend.

Hammie is starting to be able to sit by himself for very very very short periods of time. Here he is demonstrating the classic "tripod" position. I was taking somewhat of a risk taking this shot since he still has no idea that if he pitches too far forward he will land right on his face. Hammie has, however, had very few injuries in his almost 6 months on the planet, unlike his brother who, after falling off the chair at the zoo, falling out of the raised cat bed and trying to squash Kennebec (who is nowhere near as patient as Brok), currently looks like he was in a fight with a wolverine, and lost (the photo is pre-wolverine-attack).

Hammie is still showing no interest in his formula or cereal, and I am now only breastfeeding him at night. He has apparently figured out this system and is apparently holding out until nighttime for the boob. So, he eats nothing and is a cranky little booger all day and then is up all night eating. This system seems to be working well, don't you think?
