Happy Halloween!

We hope everyone is enjoying a fun and safe Halloween today! As you can see, Fraser is a monkey this year, a rather appropriate outfit all things considered. Our Halloween started off well. Fraser tried on his monkey costume first thing this morning and he was pretty good about not pulling the hood off (probably because the jacket of the costume has built in mittens. Genius really.) Then we watched the Today show when the cast of Young Frankenstein performed the number "Transylvania Mania." Fraser loved the singing and dancing, and it was cracking me up how glued to the TV he was until the monster burst out of the back of the stage and all the actors started yelling and running and Fraser started to cry. Apparently we're not quite ready for monsters yet.

Later we went trick or treating with the Moms Club at a local nursing home. This is a shot of Fraser and his friend Eva waiting patiently for our little parade to begin. Fraser was great at the nursing home and we fell way way behind the group during the parade/trick or treating since Fraser had to stop and examine each person and each piece of candy. He was a little hot in his monkey suit, which may account for the fact that he didn't smile once the entire time we were there, but that didn't stop everyone from commenting on how adorable he was.

When we got home Fraser was happy to de-monkey since it is pretty warm here too. He then proceeded to run around with a rubber duck in his mouth. Why? I don't know. But it made him very happy!
