Although I know it looks like we are preparing to appear in an episode of Hoarders, this is actually the result of a flea issue. The cats have fleas all of a sudden, and my best guess is that the fleas must have been in the carpet in the playroom when we moved in. So, I removed all the toys from the playroom so I could wage a war on fleas down there. On a positive note, this gave me the motivation to sort through and get rid of a bunch of toys that were broken, or just no longer played with. I also managed to wash 4 of the cats, and vacuum one of them, so it has been a real learning experience! Thank you fleas.

Friday at 5 = Disney Movie Night! The kids and I watched Hercules and Andy made scrambled eggs with ham for dinner. Everyone is happy!
Unfortunately Mario was also happy. He took off when Andy took him out before bed and returned with this super creepy bone. I don't know what it is from, and I don't think I really want to know either. I'm guessing it's a shoulder blade...

Fraser and Andy playing chess together before dinner. Fraser has learned some things about chess from his schoolmates, some correct, some not so much. I am currently working on the idea that we "take" or "capture" our opponent's pieces, who don't "kill" them. I think this must be a 6 year old boy thing.

Here are the boys working hard shoveling the backyard. Why? Who knows, but they are busy and happy, both of which are good. Eleanor was out there too, for about 10 minutes before she decided it was likely much more fun inside with Mommy.
