Yesterday, Tuesday the 28th, we had to put our wonderful dog Dharma to sleep. In the end I made Andy take her to the vet because I just couldn't bear to be there to see her pass away. The tumor on her head had started to impair the vision in her good eye, and we finally felt her quality of life wasn't high enough to justify keeping her. Dharma, I will always love you. You were such an affectionate and patient dog. Always good with the kids, even when they tried to ride you like a horse. I will miss your little wiggly dance of excitement and the way you always tried to sit on my lap. The house feels very empty and sad today. You brought me so much joy and comfort during your life, I hope if you had the chance you would say the same about us. Goodbye Dharma.
