On Monday Hammie turned 2!! Happy Birthday Hammie :) We had a little party for him in New York after thanksgiving, and he got to blow out the candles on his frosted cookie on his actual birthday, and this weekend we are having a party for him here. This prompted Fraser to ask, after singing happy birthday (again) on Hammie's actual birthday, why Hammie gets so many birthdays but he only gets one.

Hammie has decided to commemorate this birthday by beginning to tell us (sometimes) when he has poop in his diaper. I'm more excited about this than I probably should admit.

On Sunday Eleanor turned 4 months old! It's hard to believe she is getting so big already! I admit that I waited to take her 4 month picture until today, when she is actually 4 months and 3 days old, in the hopes that she would be somewhat less boogery for her photo. She and Hammie have both had awful colds since we came home, and Fraser appears to just be starting on his cold now. Woohooo for cold and flu season.

Today we had our holiday party with the Mom's Club where Santa came and handed out books to all the kids. Santa, however, is not very popular in our house, and the photo of Fraser is a pretty good representation of how close either of the boys was willing to get to the jolly old soul. Fraser at least accepted the book directly from Santa, albeit with
no eye contact and a massive grimace on his face. Hammie would only get close enough for Santa to sort of toss his present at him, which Hammie then grabbed and ran. Even Eleanor, who did not run from Santa, didn't look too thrilled to be placed on some strange man's lap, no matter how appealing it was to pull on his long white beard.

Well, that is pretty much all the new that is fit to print on this end. Tonight is bath night, which means Andy is upstairs trying to control two wet and unruly monsters, and cursing under his breath while he is wondering where the hell I disappeared to. So, in the interest of preserving my marriage, I will sign off. And to all a good night!
