Happy New Year! I know, I'm a little late in wishing everyone a Happy 2009, but as one of my resolutions was to try to be more positive, and as I really haven't had anything nice to say so far this year, I decided to try to wait until I had happy and positive things to say about my offspring before I posted again. However, as you can see in the video above, since Fraser and Hammie have recently turned every day into a never ending, nerve wracking, Mommy-breakdown-inducing whine fest, I figured might as well just break that resolution now, lest you only again hear from me sometime in July and begin to wonder if I have killed myself, my kids, or both.
Now I can't blame the boys totally for being so miserable, they have both been really sick since just before New Years. (And I do mean REALLY sick. All the sheets in my house have been sterilized since they have ALL been vomited on in that past week and a half, and the term "exploding poop" is part of any normal conversation these days. And by "exploding" I mean all slippers have been washed several times as well as many pairs of pants, shirts, sweatshirts, socks, Hammie's highchair cover and straps, and of course, the floors, many many many times.) If you are currently going "Awwwww" or making some similarly sympathetic noise for the poor sick munchkins right now I suggest you play the above video continuously for about 12 hours and see how sad you feel for them then.
So, rest assured we are all still alive, miserable but alive....

i love the fact that hammie - under the pretext of picking up the paper - seizes the opportunity (while fraser is screeching) to eat the last bits of chocolate left from their foray into andy's bag of chocolate trail mix (or whatever you call it)
