So it turns out that daylight savings time is, predictably, still not my friend. The good news is that Hammie has finally stopped getting up at 4:45 every day. The bad news is that he now believes 5:15 is an acceptable time to set his tiny internal alarm clock for. Luckily for me, although there is apparently no way to reset his precision swiss internal time piece, there is coffee, lots and lots and lots of coffee.

I will use my total sleep deprivation, once again, as a an excuse for not updating the blog in awhile. In addition to Hammie's current sleep strike there have also been a series of nasty colds (the kids and mine) conspiring to keep me unable to complete an entire thought or sentence. I have been so traumatized by the number of times we have already been sick this year I actually took both the boys to the clinic this weekend for their flu shots, something I would normally be entirely too disorganized to accomplish. Of course the medical staff didn't inform me until we were actually in the room with the nurse that because the boys are under 3 they need to go back in a month for a follow up flu shot. At this point I will be impressed if I can even remember to call to make that appointment, much less get organized enough to get us all over there in the middle of December. (This is further complicated by the fact that, due to the Christmas music on the radio I have spent the better part of the weekend thinking this WAS December).

In other news, I put a video of Fraser singing his version of "The Wheels on the Bus" on youtube for your enjoyment. For those of you who still have some trouble decoding Fraser-Speak, the lyrics are "Wheels on the bus -round and round, Wheels on the bus - round and round, tractors, tractors, tractors, tractors, tractors, loaders, tractors, loaders, tractors, loaders, tractors, loaders, loaders, ...... loaders, loaders, loaders, loaders, loaders, YEAH!" These may not exactly be Disney-full-length-feature-worthy lyrics, but they represent a vast improvement over the lyrics of Fraser's last song "garbage truck." The lyrics for that one are "garbage truck, garbage truck, garbage truck, garbage truck (repeated continuously until you tell him to stop)."

I also put up a video of Hammie doing his latest amazing trick, asking for more! He has started signing "more" when he wants more to eat! It is a little tricky since he signs more and as soon as you say "Do you want more?" he is so excited that he has made himself understood that he immediately starts clapping for himself, which looks a lot like his sign for more. We are now working on the sign for "all done" since Hammie's currently method of letting me know that he is finished with his meal is to grab all the food remaining on his tray at once and throw it up into the air. At least he is getting his point across...
