We had a wonderful and very relaxing vacation in Maine, and Fraser had a fabulous time checking out all the boats and planes and bikes and lawnmowers on the island. Unfortunately this means he is doubly depressed now that we are home. Not only are there no exciting boats or planes here (at breakfast his conversation with himself goes something like this "No sailboat, sailboat in Maine, no motorboat, no ferry boat, no ai-de-plane, plane in Maine") but he also goes from having a house full of people to hang out with to having only me and at his brother to stare at all day long, this results in conversations each days that go something like this:
Fraser: "Daddy home?"
Mommy: "No, Daddy's at work."
Fraser: "Oh. Keekey here?"
Mommy: "No, Keekey is in Maine with Grandpa"
Fraser: "Oh. Ba in Maine."
Mommy: "Yes"
Fraser: "Daddy home?"
Mommy: "No honey, Daddy is at work, he won't be home until late."
Fraser: "Oh. Daddy in Maine?"
Mommy: "No. Daddy is at work."
Fraser: "Daddy home?"
Mommy: "No, Daddy is at work. Can you please get mommy a beer from the fridge now?"
