Hammie is 9 months old! It was particularly difficult to take Hammie's 9 month picture this month, even with the help of both my parents, since he absolutely refuses to sit still for more than half a second unless he is eating something (which, as you can see from the shot with his cup, doesn't make for the nicest picture.) He is constantly trying to crawl up things, off things, over things and under things. This has recently led to more than a few tumbles, bumps and bruises. Still, he seems unfazed by his injuries. The third photo is Hammie being Hammie. He's generally a pretty happy guy!

Fraser is most definitely, unquestionably, unarguably two years old. He refuses to listen and is obstinate just because he can be. Occasionally this can actually be pretty cute. Like today he insisted that he wanted to feed Hammie. Actually, he came over while I was feeding Hammie and started yelling "You feed Hammie! YOU feed Hammie!" It took me a minute to figure out that he was saying that he wanted to feed Hammie (he's still a little confused by the whole "you" "me" "I" thing.) So, below you can see a photo of Fraser carefully shoveling food into Hammie's mouth. Hammie was a little skeptical of this arrangement at first (wary of Fraser voluntarily offering him anything) but he warmed up to the idea after the first spoonful. Who knows, maybe this is the beginning of some productive brotherly cooperation. Soon they will be working together to do all sorts of things, like pull all the plates out of the cabinets, push the car out of the driveway and scale the house like teeny-tiny-spidermen. Yes, I can't wait for all those lovely "yes, we have two boys" moments.
