On a more positive note Fraser has also greatly improved his ability to get back down after he pulls himself up on things, which has greatly decreased the amount of screaming and head smashing we need to deal with on a daily basis. In the past two days he has also begun "cruising." That is, attempting to walk by grabbing furniture and then moving to a new piece of furniture or other object. Unfortunately for Fraser our furniture arrangement isn't really conducive to this purpose, and more often then not he tries to move from something stable (like the couch or baby gate) to something slightly less stable (like one of his walking toys or a cat). This, of course, creates unanticipated complications in his plan and, more often than not, results in more screaming and head smashing. Still, he doesn't seem any worse for wear (though a few of the cats may be) so I think there is still hope he will continue trying to learn to walk and won't simply throw his hands into the air and say "To hell with this. How about you just carry me everywhere from now on mom?"
